Philosophy

Diane utilizes scientific (evidence based) principles to help you meet your full genetic potential for wellness.  She stays current in all of the research for the areas she treats, and incorporates this information into the sessions.  All of her recommendations are individualized based on your unique needs and profile.

When appropriate, Diane works with a multidisciplinary team of treatment providers that includes primary care and specialty physicians, therapists, psychiatrists and exercise physiologists.

The first appointment

In the initial appointment, Diane conducts a comprehensive medical, nutritional and biopsychosocial assessment to assess your readiness for change and to identify potential treatment goals.

Together you will plan a holistic program (which includes nutrition, activity, supplements and stress management techniques) that is achievable and realistic for you.  You will work at a pace that is comfortable for you emotionally.  In follow up sessions obstacles to success are addressed, and new goals are set.  Detailed menu plans with shopping lists are available upon request.
